Azure This Week

.NET 6 Highlights

Episode description

In Azure news this week, Lars Klint takes a deep dive into the new .NET 6 – one of the biggest releases for the .NET framework in years! From a cloud perspective: Azure Functions, app services, ASP.NET and Azure static web apps all now fully support .NET 6. Performance has been improved in so many areas, including a huge amount of updates for the Just in Time compiler (aka JiT compiler), and there has been a lot of progress made towards creating a more unified .NET 6 platform.
