In this lab, you will explore, configure, and customize the Azure portal.

Learning Objectives

Successfully complete this lab by achieving the following learning objectives:

Log In to the Azure Portal

Log in to the Azure portal using the lab credentials. From there, you will access the Azure portal Settings menu.

Customize Visual Details

You will decide on the various visual details and configure them according to your preference.

Create and Publish a Customized Dashboard
  • Create a dashboard that includes at least three widgets.

  • Publish the dashboard to the lab tenant (ephemeral).

Deploy a Storage Account

Deploying a storage account is a simple way to explore the deployment process in Azure. You will deploy a storage account with the setting of locally-redundant storage (LRS).

Add a Metric for the New Storage Account to the Created Dashboard

Add a metric to the dashboard for your newly deployed storage account.
