I performed a couple labs in this course but now I cannot create f1-micro instances. Can anyone tell me why that would happen?

Series => N1 (First Generation). Click on Machine type and select f1-micro

Why Can I Suddenly Not Choose f1-micro instances?
Could you please be more specific? What happened when you could not create the instance? Error message? Weird behavior? Something else?
