unable to add bucket on the command line

unable to add bucket on the command line, i get the below error:-

Creating gs://test-lab/…

ServiceException: 409 Bucket test-lab already exists.

This lab needless to say doesn’t exist in the UI (bucket browser)

Bucket names are unique across Cloud Storage, so you have to add on to the name in some form.

Hi Nathan,

In the previous lesson, Mattias states that bucket names are unique globally. That means for all users/projects/accounts, not globally within your space. You could easily add your initials to the end of the bucket name and probably successfully create the bucket.
