When I created my free tier GCP account it says that I have $300 credit and 90 days remaining. I thought the account was for 1 yr. Did I do something wrong in setup?

Google made some changes this past December that reduced the free credit time period to 90 days.
You got it, correct.
That kinda sucks. Seems like 1 year would be a good period for learning. All the good comparison with AWS knocked off it one swoop.
