Can’t find the f1 micro instance while setting up the GCE

Those E2, N2 and N1 are instance series (also known as instance generation), where instance type is a subset of instance generation. To have f1-micro, you need to select the series/generation to N1 then you can find f1-micro under the "Machine type" drop-down.
