Hello,
I had the same issue last week, i tried many things: logged off, logged in, deleted-recreated the template, suspecting I ran into an trial account limitation, deleted my other vm, nothing helped. Today I clicked on the create vm button using the instance template from last week and everything worked perfectly. I think it was a bug??? in the Debian image.

Cheers,

Robert

Same here today…. don’t know what’s happening.
The thing you can do is passing by command line like this :

gcloud compute instances create worker-instance-from-template –source-instance-template worker-instance-template

And it works
