I forgot to remove my IGW even thought my VPC and resources were torn down and got charged $35 for a month even though there was no traffic. Just having it is a charge apparently. I don’t recall the instructor mentioning that.

I believe you’ll be charged 0.045 per hour even if it is not used.
Internet Gateway is free, I think you had a NAT Gateway lying around.
