When designing a EC2 Volume backup, which is more advantageous to use AWS Backup or LifeCycle Manager?

AWS Backup is designed to be a more holistic backup management tool that can cover lots of services, so IMO it’s overkill for a simple EC2 snapshot strategy.  I’d use Lifecycle Manager if all you need is a way to keep up with rolling snapshots.
