I face some questions about Improvement for existing solutions. They already have a EC2 m4.2xlarge.
Now they want use ELB to improve availability. So, should they add more m4.2xlarge instance or use two m4.xlarge instances? They do not talk about current resources usage, just want improve availability.
If pricing is more important, I think using two m4.xlarge instances is fine, but I’m not really sure. How should we answer that question?

ELB + autoscaling can provide scaling and availability. Instead of 1 large you can have many (or 2) small/medium + multi-az. You can scale up/down as needed.
