setup issue with volume storage gateway

I am trying to create a cache volume storage gateway. I followed all the steps as given on aws documentation till step 4 but   As per the step 5 I can’t see the attached volume. I can’t see  by-path  folder under the disk.  when running  ls -l /dev/disk
