Q: Will my Safenet-based HSMs be retired?
Yes. Gemalto has announced end of life for the HSMs that CloudHSM Classic provides. You must upgrade to the new CloudHSM by April 2020.
Is this still valid for the current test?

No, I don’t think you should expect anything about CloudHSM Classic on the exam. Maybe Scott meant the "current" CloudHSM? Either way, the questions shouldn’t be specific to the old/current hardware. I would expect things like "keys must be stored in hardware security module", or "FIPS 140-2 Level 3" vs. "Level 2" is required.
