Its clearn mentioned in both the coursses. Ryan’s is for the exam this its going to retire on Feb 3,2019. And the Scots course is for the new version of the AWS Certified Solutions Architect exam which will be released on Feb 4, 2019…

I’ve went through both courses. To be honest I think Ryan’s and Scott’s are complement to each other. Ryan’s course’s framework is carefully designed. However many things changed since Ryan’s courses published. Scott’s content is more deep and wide with a lot of labs(with instructions). Finishing those Labs definitely would boost your AWS knowledges and chances to pass SAP.
