I’m trying to create a trail for us-east-1 region with logs saved to S3. I don’t see an option for how to limit trail to one regions or all regions. In s3 bucket that is connected to trail I see list of folders that corresponding to all regions. Did someone get into the same problem ? How can I create a trail for a single region?

Hi Bobjas,
As described in the AWS CloudTrail documentation here:
"In the console, you create a trail that logs events in all AWS Regions that you have enabled. This is a recommended best practice. To log events in a single region (not recommended), use the AWS CLI."
