MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA | AUSTIN, TEXAS (August 29, 2018) – A Cloud Guru, a premier online training platform for Amazon Web Services (AWS) education and certification, announced today that it has achieved AWS Education Competency status. This designation recognizes that A Cloud Guru has demonstrated both technical proficiency and success in building solutions that support mission-critical workloads of Higher Education, K-12 Primary/Secondary, Research and Publishing customers.

Achieving the AWS Education Competency differentiates A Cloud Guru as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that has delivered proven customer success providing specialized solutions aligning with AWS architectural best practices to support the academic experience of teachers and learners and/or improve the operational needs of administrators. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and undergo an assessment of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions.

“A Cloud Guru is thrilled to be part of the AWS Partner Network and achieve the AWS Education Competency,” said Sam Kroonenburg, CEO and Co-Founder. “Since we began this journey in 2015, our team has always been dedicated to leveraging the agility of AWS to help educational institutions using our on-demand curriculum to achieve their goals.”

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.

A Cloud Guru is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, member of the AWS Public Sector Partner Program, and is now available directly in the AWS Marketplace. We are proud to serve our customers including Dow Jones, Verizon, VMware Cloudhealth, Expedia, Qualcomm, Xero, Cloud Technology Partners, and the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.
