In this lab, you will be using CloudFormation to launch the AWS solution called Instance Scheduler.

Learning Objectives

Successfully complete this lab by achieving the following learning objectives:

Deploy Instance Scheduler with CloudFormation
  • Download aws-instance-scheduler.template from the GitHub repository.
  • Use CloudFormation to deploy Instance Scheduler.
Change the Office Hours in DynamoDB

After deployment, change the hours to something a little more reasonable for this lab (i.e., update the time to within 5 minutes of the time it is currently for you).

Edit EventBridge

Edit the EventBridge settings.

Tag the Existing EC2

Add a tag to the existing EC2 instance.
