Azure Active Directory (AD) is often a critical component in many cloud based Azure solutions, and it can be used to manage access to enterprise resources for organizations. In this hands-on lab, we’ll walk through bulk operations that can be performed within the Azure Portal, to help streamline the management of user accounts and security groups.
Learning Objectives
Successfully complete this lab by achieving the following learning objectives:
- Bulk Create Users
In the Azure portal, within the Azure Active Directory service, create three users using the CSV template provided.
Note: The CSV template can be accessed and downloaded via Users > Bulk operations > Bulk create.
- Bulk Delete Users
In the Azure portal, within the Azure Active Directory service, delete one user using the CSV template provided.
Note: The CSV template can be accessed and downloaded via Users > Bulk operations > Bulk delete.
- Bulk Add Group Members
In the Azure portal, within the Azure Active Directory service, add all remaining users to a group using the CSV template provided.
Note: You must create a Security group first. Then, the CSV template can be accessed and downloaded via Groups > ‘Group Name’ > Members > Bulk operations > Import members.
