About this Hands-on Lab

In this lab, we will connect two different VPC networks using the Cloud VPN service, which will be configured with dynamic routes using the Cloud Router service.

Learning Objectives

Successfully complete this lab by achieving the following learning objectives:

Reserve Static IP Addresses

Reserve a static IP address for each VPN gateway will be using.

Create two Cloud Routers

Create two Cloud Routers which we will attach to our VPN tunnels.

Set VPC dynamic routing mode to global

Set VPC dynamic routing mode to global mode to enable cross-region routing.

Create two VPN gateways, with tunnels

Create two VPN gateways, with tunnels

Additional Resources

To avoid cached log in issue, right click on the 'launch lab' button and launch in incognito mode (or your browser 'private browing' mode).

You will already have two custom VPC's created with three subnets and three instances for this exercise.

Note: Use the Classic VPN option in the lab.
