Learning Objectives

Successfully complete this lab by achieving the following learning objectives:

Configure New Samba Share

Configure a new Samba share named app in the Samba configuration file. Check the syntax of the new configuration file and restart Samba services.

Create the Share

Create a directory named /app and change the permissions of /app to 777.

Log In to Samba to Verify

Set the Samba root password and log into the Samba server to display the shares.
