As we known, to import data into Cloud SQL, we must use Cloud Storage as a staging ground. So I asked myself do we have another way to do that or not? I mean could we just ignore the Cloud Storage as a staging ground or not? Or do we have any other services that could be the staging ground instead Cloud Storage?
I guess it makes sense to use Cloud Storage as a staging ground, as you basically just need somewhere to upload a large sqldump ready to import.

Hope this helps!
