When I click on a file in the GCP Storage BRowser, it shows details, and doesn’t open the file in a new tab, like the video…?

You can click the Download button next to your object, and your object (video, image, document, etc.) will be opened in a new tab. However please notice that:

• If you don’t make your object publicly accessible, only you can see that object via what called "authenticated URL".

• If your object is made public, then everyone can see your object via its "public URL", usually in the syntax of https://storage.googleapis.com/<bucket name>/<object name>
