Have created custom VPC with firewall rule allowing icmp protocol but still not able to ping the instance created on the same VPC network? Kindly help to troubleshoot the issue.

Hello Mohan,
1. When you created the firewall rule, how did you link it to the VM instances, by assigning it to a subnet -all targets- in your custom VPC network or using network tags/service account.
2. When you created the firewall rule, did you allow ingress traffic from 0.0.0.0, which allows any IP range to ping the instance?
Needs a bit more information on your configuration settings.
