Hello, Sergey. Google doesn’t really get much into NAT in the scope of their ACE exam, which is why I haven’t emphasized it.
As for public/private networks, I didn’t talk about those because in GCP, the subnets themselves do not need to be public or private. Instead, routing and firewall decisions can happen differently for every single instance! That’s something you should try to latch onto, to get a better sense for how different Google’s Software-Defined Networking is from other situations you may have encountered in the past.
