The BigQuery "Classic View" doesn’t appear to be available to me. Is that something other students are experiencing? If so, will the course material be updated?

Aha! The new BigQuery console has apparently just gone out of Beta, so I’ll need to record an update to this lecture. Thanks for raising this! 👍
For the time being, though, you can choose to either create the project in the new UI (the steps and actions are pretty much the same; you’ll just have to look around a bit for where they went) or go to https://bigquery.cloud.google.com/ to get to the classic UI (as described on this doc page).
