Standard Infrequent Access vs S3 Glacier

What could be a use case when to use Standard Infrequent Access vs when to use S3 Glacier ?

Eric Apau

when a company policy restricts the storage of data to just one availability zone, S3-IA is the only option

S3 IA is best suited to data that has infrequent access patterns but must be retrieved immediately. Storing images for an estate agent is a common exam scenario.

S3 Glacier is a low-cost data archiving solution. It is best suited for data that needs to be archived. Standard retrieval can be 3-5 hours, although you can pay for expedited retrieval which can take 1-5 minutes.
