I was watching the SAA-C02 lecture in which Ryan mentions S3 select and Glacier select where you can access information from a csv stored in s3 using SQL like statements, and also a "Athena and Macie" lecture in which Athena is used to access s3 using standard SQL – so what’s the difference between the two?
Macie is a security section that uses to protect PHI, PPI, and financial information that stored in Amazon S3. This Macie is supporting HIPAA dan GDPR regulation. Amazon S3 in an object storage
Athena is a serverless query services that analyze data in Amazon S3 using standard SQL.
Hope this helps, and good luck for your study!
