When we create read replica, it is observed that the main database shows modifying status . What is the reason for that? Will it cause any issues to access the from the application end?

It’s a best practice to create a read replica when you don’t expect a heavy database load. This is because the read replica creation process might cause I/O latency until it’s completed.
