Hello,

The error message appears to indicate you’re working with classic networks.

Are you able to try the below steps and confirm whether this works for you?

1. Login to the Azure Portal using the lab/sandbox credentials provided
2. Click the ‘Create a resource’ option at the top left in the Azure portal
3. Search for, and use the option, ‘network security group’ > click Create
4. Create the NSG, but ensure you use the existing subscription and resource group

Hope this helps,
James
