I believe that Azure actions are exposed as a REST API first. Then afterwards CLI, PowerShell, and SDK commands are created to ease use. I have not seen any action that I could do with the PowerShell and not the CLI, etc. I think Microsoft does a great job ensuring the job can be completed in a variety of ways to suit their customers.
Hi Justin, thank you so much for your response. I am wondering if I am able to contact you directly, as I have some questions for Azure for my work.
I am able to see the data in portal GUI, but I do not know how to get the data via API or what APIs to use.
My expertise is in AWS, but I’d be glad to help you. Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/justin-wheeler-the-cloud-architect/.
Do you mean in this course or in general when working with Azure?
