The halo-like effect is hurting my viewing experience

I too am enjoying the course so far and am intrigued by your teaching technique, however I’d like to comment on the halo-like effects on some of the slides (i.e. http://prntscr.com/ltfud5): not sure if it’s just me, but I have a sense of ‘muddy glasses’ and I, basically, find that irritating. Perhaps that’s one thing to consider reviewing at some stage.

Other than that, I’m going to go through each lesson regardless.

Thanks Adrian for the note.  The halo effect around certain pictures is courtesy of a Keynote image format setting that I set as default throughout the course slides.  I didn’t really think of it as distracting though but understand that people have sensitivities to such things.

I’m probably not going to re-record everything to remove the effect at this point, but I’ll keep the feedback in mind for future edits and courses.

Luckily for me, those slides are only really troublesome in a couple of instances. Anyway, as initially stated, I finished the course and I absolutely loved the presentation and style. Even though I’m technically only looking to get the SysOp Associate certification, your course was similar to a ‘real time training session’ with a super-knowledgeable colleague. The challenges and labs were the icing on the cake. Absolutely superb, congratulations!
