So to calculate RCU/WCU you divide by 4 (KB) / 1 (KB) and as a next step to calculate the throughput you divide the RCU by 3000 for read and 1000 for write. Is that correct?

I think you should consider if you want an eventually or a strongly consistent read in calculating RCU: for the eventually consistent read, the throughput is double compared to a strongly consistent read; so, you need the half of RCU. For the rest, I agree with you.
