Hi Brian,
As Jheison says, QuickSight permissions are a bit dodgy for me…I think because it uses several layers of access. Giving it the R/O role for S3 has always worked for me as well.

This might be a little bit basic so please bear with me .
When I am creating crawler and creating the AWS Glue role, no matter what name I provide I keep getting a role already exists error and then I have to use the radio button to select pre-existing role and then I can continue.
Importing view from DB into SPICE gives an error.
"[Simba][AthenaJDBC](100071) An error has been thrown from the AWS Athena client. Access Denied (Service: Amazon S3; Status Code: 403; Error Code: AccessDenied"
