I am immensely proud to say that I have passed my AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional exam. It was a particularly challenging exam … SA Pro is really a different kind of “beast”.
A special thanks to Scott Pletcher and ACG, the study & practice materials, tips and insights are TOP!
To all that are planning to take the exam:
Believe in Scott Pletcher when he speaks about the “Valley of Despair” … you will be there most likely, I was! But with commitment and hard work you WILL overcome it and the feeling after it will be extremely rewarding.
Do all the labs, get your hands dirty, do the labs until you can do it with your “eyes closed”.
The exam was 100% scenario based.
Try to read fast, train for it, give special attention to the last paragraph: the question itself. Most of the time, first paragraphs are there to set the context, and its important, but then you need to think: What is really being asked here?
Most of the questions require, not only that you know AWS services, but especially that you really understand the problem you are solving, only after that you can choose the correct AWS service/solution for it. So always think what you are trying to achieve/solve.
Thanks and good luck to you all.
how much hour in a day you have given for preparation? and how it planned like whitepaper read, video lectures listen and solve practice question how you equally divide for preparation?
I would say around 4 hours a day for 2 months. My plan for preparation was: first I recertified SAA, then I started the SAP course from Scott Pletcher, but during that I decided to first do the certifications for AWS SysOPS and AWS Developer, and after that I return to prepare for SA Pro. Concerning whitepapers and videos I believe I used all of the ones pointed by Scott on his lectures.
thank you.. i ahve searched Scott Pletcher lectures on acloud guru. can you please sugest course name..
