I removed the link because it was confusing. I replaced it with a link to the Well-Architected Framework security pillar. (https://d1.awsstatic.com/whitepapers/architecture/AWS-Security-Pillar.pdf) AWS has LOTS of whitepapers on security, but what you will find that there is significant overlap in them.
