Supposed we have multiple account in AWS Organizations, if i want to specify a budget for each account & in case the they reach this budget we have to stop them by provisioning any resource, How can we do it ? we can implement different budgets for different account in the master account ?
You should be able to use Budgets and assign them to each member account in your Organization. In general, I would not recommend setting up something that prevents new provisioning once a budget is reached. I’ve seen situations where companies did this with the intent to keep costs down, but it ended up killing their serverless apps after a particularly big sales month. I much rather see notifications then someone can evaluate whether the account is spending needlessly.
