BootStrap Scripts – Access Denied

Hi Blake,

Where are you getting this error? If it’s when you’re trying to spin up an EC2 instance, I personally have never seen that error. It could be some organizational policies on your account that restrict (either intentionally or unintentionally) the ability to define bootstrap scrips as maybe a sort of security measure.

If it’s when your instance is trying to start, it might be that the EC2 role does not have access to read the script source (if it’s on S3 for example)?
