Well, you can consult the Chime Customer page on AWS… I did as I was curious too and I’d say there aren’t a whole lot of names I’m familiar with so that probably tells you something. It has gotten much better in recent years, but I had the same reaction as you for the early versions.

It turns out that Slack just partnerd with Amazon to have all the backend using Chime from now on. So quite some people will be using it without knowing. Weither they succeed in compeeting against Zoom and Teams remain to be seen.
Yes, I saw that too. That was a surprise to me, coming from that industry. The last tool I would have decide to integrate with would have been Amazon Chime. There are so many way better services from other companies that I don’t understand the choice. I’m wondering how much of that decision is just related to the fact that Slack has much of it’s infra on AWS.
