I’m running through the practice exam for Security Specialty and when I see this in a question I seem to always think it’s a Customer Managed CMK and I typically get it wrong. Anyone have any identifiers/strategy to identify these types of CMKs?
There are 2 types of Customer managed CMK and by default Customer managed CMK would be one in which KMS generates the key material. The other one is when you import the key material and gets more control.
