Hi Alex,
Although the concepts are the similar, the functionality is unique. The question is about Cross-Region Replication (CRR). The new functionality is Same-Region Replication (SRR). For now, I feel the question is still valid.

I think this question is not correct as today:
Which of the following statements is correct in relation to S3 cross-region replication?
A-You are charged extra for SSL
B-SSL is enabled by default
C-SSL is disabled by default
D-The source and destination bucket may be in the same region
The selected answer is B, and it’s true, but as now you can replicate buckets inside the same region, I think this question leads to error/doubt https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/replication.html#replication-types
