So I thought the quiz question covering this was a bit unfair as I don’t remember Azure AD being mentioned at all until now!
I had heard of it but thought it was just Active Directory hosted in Azure.
What makes it different so that it can’t be used with STS?

Hi Iain; you are somewhat correct, Azure AD is Active Directory in Azure but it is also ADFS, you can use Azure AD and Enterprise SSO to basically perform federation and SSO to AWS. I have not seen the question you referring to. On a side note, I have tried to complete this federation and SSO integration on my Dev Account but as of a month ago or so wasn’t successful.
