When a security group is created, its inbound traffic will be denied by default UNLESS you explicitly allow something to come in (eg SSH port22)

2:20" there is an error in the slide referring that SG’s are Deny, in reality SG’s are used only for allowing traffic.

Agreed, making the clarification that SG’s are created in order to Allow/Filter traffic would make sense. Thanks for the answer
