Just signed up for AWS Certified Security – Specialty 2020, Saw that the material is for 2018, is it still relevant now in 2020?
I did the exam in June 2019 and followed this course. At least at that time the course was relevant, but I am not sure if there has been any changes to the exam lately.
There have been some changes to the services that are used since this course was produced, and some details are still pending an update. But the exam itself has not changed significantly since this course was released, and it follows the same blueprint at this time.
It’s definitely worth checking through the reports in the forums of other student who’ve taken the exam after sitting this course and seeing what their experiences say too
I took this exam in early Feb 2020. I would say the course was still relevant. I think the sections Faye has authored are more recent. The practice exams at the end of the course were useful. I also used the Whizlabs practice exams as they have an explanation for each answer of the question which I like. The test was difficult it took me 140 mins out of 170 and I got 899/1000.
