Is there a way to issue temporary memory cached keys for scripts to run in AWS ?

As part of the Well Architected pillars, no keys should be stored.  Therefore, is there a way using roles that I could issue temporary keys so I can run my script in AWS ? Once the script has run the keys are removed from memory.
