I’ve been having problems to connect my EC2 to SSM for a while now. I’ve noticed that I can only manage my instance through SSM when I add the AmazonEC2RoleforSSM role at LAUNCH, if I tried to add the role after I create my instance, it doesn’t work. Does anybody have this kind of problem before? btw, I’m using Linux AMI 2, so SSM agent is already installed
You should stop using the Policy AmazonEC2RoleforSSM and use AmazonSSMManagedInstanceCore instead. Try and see if it works now.
