If my cloudwatch log stopped sending logs, what could be reason? my os log rotation is imcompatible? or other things i need to check?
The first thing to check would be the AWS Article on Troubleshooting the CloudWatch Agent, which includes some very thorough steps on breaking down the problem. The first one to check would be to verify that the agent is running successfully, which you can do both on the local server, and if applicable, through Systems Manager by triggering a command remotely. You would also want to verify if any other metrics are being sent through to CloudWatch, or if it’s just the Logs component that isn’t working.
