AWS S3 Block Public Access

Worth checking the AWS blog https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/amazon-s3-block-public-access-another-layer-of-protection-for-your-accounts-and-buckets/ regarding a new feature for S3 bucket policy, as it breaks some of these labs unless the individual bucket settings are relaxed

I just found out that you can get the canonical user ID from the Account Identifier drop down list on the console

 A recent change to AWS have made all S3 ACL’s set to block public access. This can be changed by going to the bucket that the file is located in and then by going to “Public access settings” and unchecking the below options

o Block new public ACLs and uploading public objects

o Remove public access granted through public ACLs

then Save
