AWS Certificate Manager Topic

I have a question regarding the AWS Certificate Manager lecture at 6:15, Sam says "You can buy a domain from godaddy.com and have ACM issue a certificate for the domain. However, towards the end of the lecture, "Remember you cannot export the ACM issued certificate elsewhere." I am confused because it is somewhat contradictory. May be I am not fully grasp it.

I am also seeing some discussions here:

Again, here it says on the godaddy.com dns validation, they are saying that they have entered the CNAME value  from aws. So is DNS validation, exporting ACM issued certificate is more or less the same?

You can download the SSL certificate, however you cannot download its private key, which means you cannot use it for third party applications. Check the exceptions section in https://docs.aws.amazon.com/acm/latest/userguide/acm-certificate.html
