Welcome to the course, Charan! You shouldn’t need to access your personal AWS environment to complete the hands-on labs. We provide the AWS environment for you as a part of the lab. You can find information about the hands-on lab environment in this handy guide, Hands-On Labs: Getting Started. Once you start the lab, you can find the step-by-step instructions under the "GUIDE" tab at the top of the page.
As other students have noted, please make sure you’re opening the lab environment in an incognito browser. If you’re still encountering issues, please open a support ticket here, and we’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot.
The hands on lab are not showing up for free users.i tried to access one lab but do not see any option to start it even though i m not using incognito mode in chrome and opera browsers
All i see is upgrade now button
Hi, Ananda. That is correct, hands-on labs are not a part of the always Free Plan. If you want to access hands-on labs, you’ll need to upgrade to the Personal Basic plan, which offers a 7-day free trial.
You can see the instructions mentioned in the ‘GUIDE’ section of the hands-on lab. For some reason if you are unable to connect to the lab environment via incognito mode, then you can still try the ‘Playground’ option that creates a test(temporary) AWS account for the students with certain time limit and you can practice as much as you want by following the steps mentioned in the guide.
Playground is for Personal Plus users, just for your clarity. I also had the same problem, I simply switched to Chrome Incognito from Edge, and it worked.
