How is cloud9 different from lambda?

The two are server less, Cloud9 is an Integrated development environment (IDE), a set of tools to write code, execute it and debug it (you can write website and lambda function with it). On the other hand, Lambda are function that run only in reaction to an event, such as timer or user call.
