About the course

Hello Cloud Gurus, and welcome to Introduction to Azure Virtual Desktop (formerly Windows Virtual Desktop)!

Throughout this course, we’ll explore Azure Virtual Desktop in several ways. First, we’ll learn about Azure Virtual Desktop including pricing, licensing, and terminology. From there, we’ll explore how to deploy Azure Virtual Desktop, how to manage it, and then secure and monitor our deployments.

Upon completion of the course, you’ll have a good understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop and what it can provide.

To be successful in this course, you need at least an intermediate level of understanding of Azure and have worked with it for 1-2 years. This course is an introduction to Azure Virtual Desktop, so we will not be diving deep into every topic, but rather getting you familiar with the Azure Virtual Desktop service.
